

And the season begins with a sunny but breezy day at The Museum of Power, Langford.












Drive it day adventures to Kersey Mill in Suffolk with a splendid turnout from club members and glorious weather, most enjoyable.












Club members flocked to the first of two shows over the VE day celebration weekend starting with Langham show.















Enthusiastic members braved a damp and windy day at the Bank Holiday VE Day celebrations at Weeley village Hall.












First time visit for the club to a little show at Petersfield village in Gosfield. The event was well attended by club members with some 23 vehicles on parade, an enjoyable day was had by all even though we had to dodge a few rain drops.















7th /8th June reverted back to a winters weekend with the Aldham Olde Tyme Rallye at Marks Tey, enjoyable event for the few brave souls that attended.












What a scorcher that was, factor 50 was the order of the day at the Little Waltham open gardens on what was probably the hottest day of the year so far. We had 10 members brave the hot weather for a blooming lovely relaxed day in the sun with afternoon ice creams helping to keep everyone cool.















20 members enjoyed the Franks Motor Company’s very first classic car show on what was the hottest day yet, the show attracted about 150 classics.

































Next up is a firm favourite on the event calendar and that’s our friends at Fordham, this yeas they had plenty to do and see with a lovely mix of classics, trucks and bikes together with a variety of trade stalls, we had 23 club cars turnout to enjoy what was a warm but very enjoyable day.













































We didn’t get left high and dry and the Waldergraves family show, West Mersea, this lovely little show was attended buy some 18 club members on what was a rather couldn’t make up its mind weather day.


















What a scorcher of a day, Sunday 17th August was our first ever visit to the Lodge Bus Coach and classic car show at Lodge coaches in Chelmsford Planes, Coaches and Automobiles this show had it all and was thoroughly enjoyed by all that attended.

































Sunday 31st August finds us stepping back in time behind the walls of the St Osyth Priory, once a former monastery and later in 1553 the home of Thomas Cromwell and now today playing host to the St Osyth summer sounds arts festival with various forms of art in the shape of some beautiful classic cars.































































We all went back to School with the Brightlingsea classic car show on the 7th September with 23 club cars on display a yet again another prize winning vehicle in the shape of John Williams Chevy Bel Air taking 2nd place overall at the show.



























The end of the official show season is marked with the club annual visit to the Headway classic car show at Castle park in Colchester, this event is always popular and attract an excellent showing from club members with 24 club cars on display.
